Job Description:
- To develop a modern, cloud-native data and analytics platform using AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Snaplogic, Python, and Java.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance an enterprise data platform for analytics and insights.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software and data solutions.
- Improve data pipelines through automation and robust testing to accelerate delivery and quality.
- Work closely with teams to create event-driven, API-first solutions in AWS using Snowflake, Snaplogic, Tableau, Python, and REST APIs.
- Partner with stakeholders to design effective data ingestion and integration pipelines.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
- Deliver high-quality data products supporting investments, operations, analytics, and client reporting.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in data/software engineering.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT (Snowflake, DBT, Snaplogic, Informatica, or Talend).
- Strong knowledge in asset/investment management and investment technology applications
- Strong data modeling skills; experience building operational stores and warehouses.
- Proficiency with MDM tools (Informatica MDM, Matrix IDM), especially in financial services.
- Advanced SQL skills (procedures and functions).
- Programming skills in Python or Java focused on data engineering.
- Solid experience in full SDLC: design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Hands-on cloud-native development in AWS.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) experience and DevOps/automation knowledge are a plus.
